They’ve been furiously working on the old gas station space on the corner of Rutledge and Cannon, and it looks like Fuel will be ready to open its doors for a day-long party on Sat. May 31. They’ll unveil their menu full of island style specialties (ie. fish tacos, bouyon, jerk chicken) and host a 12-hour reggae concert, which will benefit the Lowcountry Environmental Education Program with music from DJ Kurfu, The Executives, and Mystic Vibrations. The outdoor bocce court and bar area will definitely help add to the island beach vibe they’re trying to create over there. Check it out between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. —Stephanie Barna
